Horsted 04/05/03 League

Well the first game was indifferent, all a bit messy and uncoordinated. Horsted are a physical team,( which you can see from the pictures the last time we played them), I'm afraid,(in my opinion), the ref wasn't 'up to' catching the tackles that 'crossed the line'. Additionally he missed 2 handballs, one push in the back and one sort of wrestling move, all in the Horsted penalty area which should have seen us 4 goals up in the first game. With the last kick of the game Horsted scored the winning goal..so we lost 0-1.. AGAIN!! The second game started little better but after a few minutes Larkfield began to get into their stride. A goal by Reece from a free kick and then Harry from free play saw Larkfield comfortably take the second match 2-0.. So why didn't they do it in the first?

Well; that was the end of the season.. a poor start but some great stuff from the end of Feb...Lows & Highs..but WELL DONE JUNIORS!!!!

NEXT SEASON 11 a side .. Big pitches ...one game...offside..and If you think I get excited now !! HOOYAA!!!
