Larkfield Boys 20/04/03 League

Ok first of all, as we are playing our sister team and as we are the away team in this fixture we are the team in RED in the pictures below.

Well we lost the first game by 1-0 AGAIN... and drew the second 1-1.

What can be said .. after a slow start they began to battle more and more until there was nothing between the teams for effort and commitment ..everyone of the team played well; tackles, runs, saves and shots.. and to be honest exciting games to watch... well done both teams.

Swale Magpies 26/04/03 League

Ok ... First of all the opposition here are League champions... They've only been beaten 7 times in 38 matches... so what do we do?

The team thats 2nd bottom? Yes thats right we beat them... and quite comfortably in the first game I might add. We were tight, disciplined,

tough in the tackle, organised...just great. A lobbed goal by Reece in the first half settled it. The second game however was a mess..

we changed positions and personel and although we seemed to be holding our own, two defencive mistakes and we found ourselves 2-0 down.

We didn't fare any better in the second half either letting in 2 more goals... They all worked very hard today and looked very tired at the end; The

league insist we have to play two more games within 24 hrs... I don't think they'll recover in time.

Vinters Green 27/04/03 League (less than 24 hrs later)

Some of them you could see were tired... they really tried but two lapses of concentration and Vinters scored two close range goals..

We pulled one back.. but not enough, so ANOTHER game gone by just one goal. The second match they really 'dug deep' to keep Vinters

out but just couldn't muster the winner 0-0 second match.
