Vinters Green 26/10/03 (League) played in Red Kit

A weakened Larkfield team that could only muster the bare 11 players took the field against Vinters G. Playing up hill and against into the teeth of a strong wind Larkfield showed guts and fight to hold the score to a 2 goal deficeit at the interval. With the wind in our favour in he second half a goal was pulled back within 5 minutes of the restart. But Vinters used their wing attack well to match the 2 goals Larkfield scored in the 2nd half. Lost 4-2. Some gutsy performances but also some basic mistakes.

Vinters Park 2/11/03 (Cup) played turned up in Red Kit

Well... not good..true the weather was awful, (see pictures below..actually can't see pictures below), but vinters had to play in it too. However apart from a few bravehearts some pretty poor stuff on the pitch..little football..however it did have its moments but really we made Vinters better than they were 9-0.
